KIK-Konnect is a location-based service marketplace that connects people in Nigeria with trusted, verified local service providers, from plumbers and electricians to fashion designers, caterers, photographers, and cleaners.

We are operated by KIK KONNECT LTD (RC: 8338131), a Nigerian company registered at 91 Obafemi Awolowo Way, Ikeja, Lagos State. Our platform is built for African communities, with local payment methods, neighborhood-level matching, and human support through Area Agents.

We exist to make everyday help reliable again: fair prices, safe payments, and a professional you can actually trust.

KIK-Konnect lets a customer describe a job, share a location, and receive quotes from nearby providers or be matched by a local Area Agent. The customer picks a quote, the provider comes out and does the work, and the money is only released once the customer confirms the job is done.

Every provider is identity-verified through Sumsub before they can take jobs, and every wallet-funded booking is protected by escrow. Providers earn, customers get accountable service, and agents earn a commission for keeping their territory running smoothly.

We currently operate in Surulere and surrounding Lagos neighborhoods, and we are expanding territory by territory as we onboard new Area Agents.

Customers are anyone who needs a local service done well. Browse categories, post a job, compare quotes, and book with confidence knowing your payment is held safely in escrow until the work is finished.

Service Providers are artisans, tradespeople, and small businesses who want a steady stream of local jobs without the stress of chasing payments. Providers build a reputation through ratings and climb performance tiers (bronze, silver, gold, platinum) for better visibility.

Area Agents are local partners who recruit and verify providers, match customers when no provider is nearby, and resolve disputes in their assigned territory. Agents earn a share of the platform commission and recruitment bonuses.

A single account can hold both Customer and Service Provider roles at the same time. You can switch between roles anytime from the Home or Profile page.

1. Choose a service category and describe what you need, adding a photo if it helps.

2. Set your location with house number, street, and a landmark so the provider can find you, and choose normal or emergency urgency.

3. Nearby providers submit quotes with their price, estimated duration, and a short note, or you can request agent assistance to be matched manually.

4. Review the quotes and accept the one that fits. The accepted price becomes your booking price.

5. The provider accepts, heads to your location, and starts the job. You can chat and track progress in real time.

6. When the work is done, you confirm completion. For wallet jobs, the escrow is released to the provider (minus platform and any agent commission). For cash jobs, you pay the provider directly.

7. Rate your provider. Honest ratings help good pros grow and keep the marketplace trustworthy.

Every Service Provider and Area Agent completes identity verification through Sumsub, our licensed third-party verification partner. ID documents and selfies are submitted directly to Sumsub; KIK-Konnect never sees or stores them. Sumsub returns only a verification result.

A GREEN result activates the account so the provider becomes visible to nearby searches. A RED result keeps the account off the platform until the applicant resolves the issue.

Wallet-funded bookings are held in escrow, so the provider knows they will be paid and the customer knows the money is only released once they confirm the job is complete.

Customers top up a wallet using their card through our payment provider. Full card details are handled by the provider and are never stored by KIK-Konnect.

For wallet jobs, the booking price is held in escrow until the customer confirms completion. The provider then receives the price minus the platform commission and any agent commission share.

For cash jobs, the customer pays the provider directly on completion. The provider owes the platform a commission, which is tracked as a debt balance and settled on schedule.

Providers can request withdrawals to their verified bank account. Full rules are described in the Payment & Payout Policy.

Providers are assigned a performance tier (bronze, silver, gold, platinum) based on completed jobs, average rating, and reliability. Higher tiers earn better visibility and benefits.

A provider's visibility score (0 to 100) affects how they rank in customer search results. Cancellations, poor ratings, and policy violations lower the score.

Customers earn loyalty points on every booking that can be redeemed for discounts, making repeat use rewarding.

If something goes wrong, either the customer or provider can raise a dispute on the booking. The dispute is first investigated by the Area Agent for that territory, who can resolve it with a full payout, partial refund, full refund, or no action.

If it cannot be resolved at the agent level, it is escalated to a platform administrator for a final decision. Every action is recorded in an audit log for transparency.
